Jim is about to marry a princess... but he's in love with an angel.

Jim, a talented young musician, is about to marry the wealthy Patty. But when an Angel (played by the gorgeous Emmanuelle Béart) falls from the sky and lands in his swimming pool, his life as he knows it is thrown into disarray. With a broken wing and nowhere to go, the Angel befriends Jim, who becomes completely besotted with her.

But all is not well: Jim's friends want to take advantage of the heavenly creature, Jim's bride is wracked with jealousy and wants nothing more than to get rid of her once and for all. As for the father-in-law, he would like to use her to save his flailing cosmetics factory.

A romantic comedy with heart and humour, Date with an Angel is a little piece of heaven.
