Description

Al Pennyback's friend Buster Mayweather and his wife Alma witness a crime while on vacation. The perps later kidnap Alma and Al's girl friend Sandra to keep Buster from exposing a crime far more serious than a simple homicide. Al is faced with a moral dilemma and a deadly challenge: He must save the women, and deal with his developing relationship with Sandra. At the same time, he has to decide if he can kill a man in cold blood; even one who deserves to die. Non-stop suspense and action from first page to last as Al races to avert a disaster and save the love of his life.

Author Biography:

Charles Ray began writing fiction at the age of 12, but switched to non-fiction in his early 20s. After years of newspaper and magazine writing, and two non-fiction books on leadership, he went back to his first love with the Al Pennyback mystery series. Dead, White, and Blue is the fourth in the series. A native of Texas, Ray relocated to North Potomac, MD, where he resides (sometimes) with his wife, Myung, and a rambunctious Pekinese named Chong. He is a Vietnam vet who moved to the U.S. Foreign Service after 20 years in the army and has a quest to see every inch of the world that is accessible. He is currently living in Harare, Zimbabwe.
