Description

New York, autumn 1894. Pamela Thompson sets out to correct Harry Miller's wrongful conviction for bribery, seven years earlier, while investigating Tammany Hall's role in a cabdriver's murder. Author Biography:

Charles O'Brien decided to try his hand at writing historical mysteries due to a lifelong love of delving into the past. James Joyce in The Dubliners and Willa Cather in Death Comes for the Archbishop have both influenced his writing style.
