Gianni Vattimo is emeritus professor of philosophy at the University of Turin and a member of the European Parliament. He is the author of Hermeneutic Communism (co-authored with S. Michael Marder is Ikerbasque Research Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of the Basque Country, Vitoria-Gasteiz.
