I needed a lift for my laptop that has multi adjustable heights, easy to use and made the pile of text books I had been using to prop up my lap top obsolete. Problem solved – you can adjust the speed of the fan, it has three USB ports and makes the computer cords easier to deal with. Anyone who has seen it asks me where it came from and its cost. Money well spent.
Stopped the lappy suffering from heat exhaustion. quiet… Even at full throttle on the fan… just needs MORE usb ports, is 3 ports really enough--- for any man--- lol – in fact i'm thinking i'll be getting another couple
The product advertises itself as supporting 17" laptops, yet mine still overhangs the sides a noticeable amount and has to be somewhat precariously perched on it. It definitely provides the cooling I require when the CPU is under load, but I would not feel comfortable using it on anything other than a flat, level, and secure surface lest my laptop slide off.
