Author Biography:

Christopher David was born in Yorkshire, immigrated to New Zealand with his parents in the mid seventies. So was Yorkshire born and bred and New Zealand reared. He attended Wanganui High School, leaving school during the economic slump in the early eighties. Eventually found work in heavy engineering before he enlisted in the New Zealand Army as a chef. Returning to England towards the end of the millennium to work in the Yorkshire hospitality trade, which included catering to many television stars, especially Yorkshire Television with "Heartbeat," "Emmerdale" and "Where the Heart Is." Since settling in the local pub trade he has catered numerous local personalities including his local MP. Christopher has spent a lot of time over the last twenty or so years working in youth work both in New Zealand as well as England, promoting a healthy outdoor education.
