the author james jones was a bushranger at age seven, holding up the crowd with a wooden pistol for pennies .when they were going down the lane next to his house on the way to a football match.since then he has travelled the world six times been around aussie ten times.artist poet sign writer .painter, mech. engineer, pilot tiger moth biplane, bushman, blacktracker .gsoh knows how to tell a good joke with the right accent. To suit and spin a good yarn .a story for the chaps at eton what .very creative and with a vivid imagination that has no bounds .open minded, direct speaking to the point, easy going relaxed laid back country man.i created the methods of smuggling from research and my travels and personal experiences in asia, Europe and Africa where I met nessy the black mamba, a sweeter lady you would never meet but never tease her, as she moves faster than you can blink and eye.This book has been written for people of all ages from the little boys of cornwall at sliver cove, playing games with wooden swords as ferocious smugglers to mums and the dads and grand parents.And for lads in the sand coloured berets, no name no pack drill. Four men of real guts, ability and determination by there actions gave me many ideas for this book as I read there life history.Three of my uncles at the Charge of Beerasheva and captain James Van Der Veen master mariner, smuggler and privateer in a thirty gun tea clipper of american design from the port of Amsterdam my great grandfather a quiet unassuming Dutchman who always had fresh fruit, tulips and cheese on board to prevent scurvy seventeen eighty to eighteen eighty.Jack Higgins, Fredercik Forsyth and Andy Mc nabb helped me create a good storyline and provided useful information on weapons and tactics .my own wide knowledge and experience provided the rest .I am at sea at present in my cabin with quill and ink writing my third book a pirate tale of murder and intrigue in the carribean sea, three native girls are preparing a seafood lunch and a large jug of tequila sunrise, a sailors best friend .As the boys of the 4th Light horse Brigade use to say I gave it my best shot, and I have enough ammo for another smugglers caper. Just where and when I will keep you guessing.Make a cuppa, sit back put your feet up and enjoy Terry, Reggie, Berty and Monty as they act out there role as the main characters.To captain Jack Hawkins cornwall the best in the business I doff my hat to you sir, you ran rings around the bastards HMS CUS
