Author Biography:

Grace Ellis is a script writer whose comic books include the Eisner- and GLAAD Award-winning, New York Times-bestselling Lumberjanes as well as Moonstruck. She has written some favorite DC Comics characters in Lois Lane and the Friendship Challenge and Batwoman in Truth & Justice. Grace lives in Columbus, Ohio, where she can often be found attending a play or petting a cat. Penelope Rivera Gaylord is an illustrator and vis dev artist based in the Los Angeles area. She started her professional career in comics but has since transitioned into the animation industry creating stories and characters for studios like Cartoon Network, Imagine Entertainment Kids + Family, and 9B Collective. She illustrated the Captain Marvel Little Golden Book and Avengers- Battle on the Moon Little Golden Book for Penguin Random House. Born in the Philippines, Penelope grew up in the Washington, DC area. She and her husband, Jerry, moved to LA in pursuit of their dreams of bringing their stories to life in cartoon form-also to live that cowabunga lifestyle.
