Not his greatest work. In fact, some critics review this as his worst efforts, that is until “Survival of the Dead” came out. This one had it's moments, and some good zombie action, but really falls short of the mark. The constant ‘in your face’ video camera action is off-putting and makes it a clumsy movie.

Description

Diary of the Dead

WHERE WILL YOU BE WHEN THE END BEGINS?

In his first independent zombie film in over two decades, George A. Romero returns to ground zero in the realm of the undead. A group of film students making a horror movie in the woods discover that whenever someone dies, they come back as the living dead. Turning their cameras on the shocking real-life horrors happening around them, they create a video document, a diary, of their terrifying encounters and of the world as it becomes overwhelmed by hordes of the undead.

Told with Romero's pitch-black humour and an unflinching eye on our modern world, GEORGE A. ROMERO'S DIARY OF THE DEAD marks the legendary trailblazer's return to his roots.
