Stripteese (featuring the lovely Dita Von Teese), is a wonderfully presented set of 3 books which present in a cute “flip book” fashion 3 seperate shoots: the Martini Glass, the Bird of Paradise and a more ‘Classic’ photoshoot.
While some may say this book lacks variety (only the 3 aforementioned shoots); the 3 shoots are different enough to give a good idea as to the range of burlesque performances Dita von Teese can give. each of these flipbooks is made up for many individual photos, and while the best way to enjoy it may be to slip through them to get the motion of the performaces happening; each photo is worthy of attention in and of itself.
The presentation of this book is stunning. The whole package comes in the wonderful hardcover case with ribbon ties (seen in the photo) and each of the 3 flipbooks fitting snugly inside a placeholder within the case.
The “animation” of the flipbooks themselves is excellent; the photos combine to show off the grace and sauciness of an exceptional burlesque performer, the only downside is in one book where the flipbook is best viewed vertically making the flipping “animation” a bit less fluid; but still quite enjoyable.
an excellent book for for fans of erotica, photography, burlesque, Dita von Teese or anyone who can appreciate an exceptionally well put together package. A+
