The curse drains his power over time, and daily he grows closer to death's door. Despite the curse, Elian and Sirra reside with the wolf mages Kahla and Wild Toe at their den in Falkewood Forest. The wolves, along with their elf friend Rhien, journey to the fabled city of Falcoria, seeking the aid of the hidden elves for Elian's benefit. The elves, however, refuse to help Elian.
