Read the only review on here and had to add my own. I read 2000AD from issue 1. Dredd appeared from issue 2. This film version takes the fan to the place that Stalone's version did not. This Dredd is the comic character we all wanted back in the 90s. Not every one will get it – nor should they but is this version a good reflection of the comic…yes it is. If you follow Dredd, watch it, kick back and soak it up. Watch for the fanboy clues all the way through. Karl Urban does a job that many thought only Clint Eastwood could do (reader vote from years ago). Well done fellas. I will buy this and play it to death.

The true interpretation of what Judge Dredd and Mega City One should be. Most likely took a hard hit from the previously filmed 1995 version. The gritty portrayal of Dredd by Karl Urban hits the nail directly on the head, sinking it to the hilt in one shot. Worthy of a sequel.

my dvd was not in the most playable condtion when i played it it only plays half way then packs up

but over all it's still a fantastic movie a mast for all dread fans and anyone who wants to wantch a fantastic movie.
