Great service a joy to sit down and watch a ‘decent’ movie for a change

One of my grandsons told me that he'd heard that this film wasn't very good, but when he began watching it, he was instantly engrossed, as were we all! It's animated in the Wallace and Gromit style, and one of the most memorable characters is a pig named Hognob, who displays some interesting abilities. The story concerns a small tribe of cave folk who come into conflict with an arrogant, large group of more sophisticated folk, who decide to take over the cave people's lovely valley, in order to mine it. The ‘city’ folk are passionate about football, and the story culminates in a match between the two groups, winner gets the valley. Watch it – it's enormous fun!

Classic Aardman. Very enjoyable. Not up to the standard of Wallace and Gromit's ‘The Wrong Trousers’ though.
