Ubiquitous access to information from a diverse range of perspectives has created a new educational reality in Chinese universities. While quantitative research regarding internet usage is well represented, qualitative analyses of lived experiences remain scarce. This narrative inquiry explores the changing landscape of Chinese higher education through storied experiences of stu-dent and faculty usage of the internet for educational purposes. The internet has not only enhanced and expanded the educational experience in several important ways, but has also significantly influenced teaching and learning strategies, fundamentally altering the way that some students and faculty approach higher education.
