To Have so many John Carpenter films remastered in 4K is indeed a treat,Halloween,They Live,Prince Of Darkness and Escape From New York have all been given the treatment. Escape looks incredible,the best it has ever looked,Dolby Vision and HDR 10 give the picture incredible look,there is a certain amount of grain is present but thus you will always have for older made films,the 4K edition comes with a remastered Bluray and Bonus extras disc with plenty of added features,the 4K disc seems to have a much more bolstered 5.1 DTS Master Soundtrack than the Remastered Bluray however the films soundtrack has never sounded better. If youre a John Carpenter fan this is must have to your collection as are all the Carpenter 4K remasters.
