I bought this on special, almost half off, and I'm glad I didn't pay more. It feels a bit cheaply made and the instructions aren't super clear at times. Plus, even if you're sure you followed them right there's lots of places where the design seems to want to have multiple tracks and supports in the same place, and it's fiddly trying to adjust everything to fit. Also, the rails are provided as a single piece of 5m tube which you have to cut to length yourself, which I suppose might be useful if you're going by your own layout, but if you follow the instructions it will limot youbinbtrying tobcreate new layouts later.
Once I got it together, it works, more or less. The motor for the elevator is very loud and sounds like it's about to die at any moment, and the rails aren't very stable or able to be stabilised very well. What at first seemed to be a completed loop that worked fine started dropping marbles after a few runs through.
Fine for a project to fiddle with, but not the best toy ever.
