The build of the Eva Solo Tea Maker is top notch with each component impeccable in quality and finish.
The filter is fine enough to prevent significant sediment or leaves from getting through, providing for a clean pour. The way it works is similar to a normal tea kettle except with one big bonus! You load the tea leaves into the filter, pour the heated water over the leaves, and then put the plunger top over the opening. You let the leaves soak in the heated water for the appropriate amount of time and when you are done letting them seep, you depress the plunger and it surrounds the tea leaves in the filter, preventing further brewing from taking place.
This functionality is a big win, as it allows for the least amount of mess (you don't have to worry about taking hot tea leaves out of the pot) and clean up is a breeze as most of the tea leaves end up within the plunger base – which is easy to empty into the rubbish bin.
The glass heats up to the temperature of the water, so you must have the sleeve on in order to handle it for serving the tea. Make sure you have the sleeve on before you start brewing. It is easy to handle even when filled with hot tea, providing you have the neoprene leave on.
The generous 1L capacity is perfect for multiple servings in a single brew (makes approximately 3–4 normal coffee mugs worth of tea no problem).
Enjoy a perfect brew with your very own Eva Solo Tea Maker today!
