Author Biography:

Author Ginger Busby and her husband have been licensed Foster/Adoptive/Kinship care givers for over thirteen years. She carries an AA in Criminal Justice and a BA in Social Work. Ginger is a Certified Child Welfare specialist and has worked in the Child Welfare / Mental Health care field for fifteen plus years. In this heart felt testimony, she shares intimate details of the challenges you are not told when you are fostering, and no one is there when the battle is raging, and the storms are tearing down the very foundation of your being. She also shares the basic lay out of the foster care system in her home state of Iowa, to show the unrealistic expectations of the Child Welfare system.
