Jacob Hunter is a former special agent for a secret government project known as Grey Hand. When Project Grey Hand was defunded and remnants of the project scattered to the wind, Jacob Hunter retired to a small shore town in Southern New Jersey. But as much as he wants to live a quiet life of solitude, there will always be someone that needs his help, or something spooky that catches his attention. In Extraction, Jacob's former handler recruits his help to find a missing person in a small town in western Pennsylvania. When Jacob gets to town he finds things a little more complicated than he expected after running into FBI agents, learning of a UFO crash, and dealing with a crooked police chief. Now he must befriend the local kook and the voices in his head to learn what is really going on in the town of Black Rose.
