Author Biography:

Growing up in Brooklyn, I was quite aware of the Italian connection and what they meant to the neighborhood. My father was a member of the Italian American Club and part of the "Family." Only when he was in his 70's and dying of cancer, did I find out what he did in his younger days and decided to write this story. That is where the idea and concept of Family Secrets came from. Fact or fiction? I cannot confirm nor deny the content within this fictional novel. I was raised Catholic and was an altar boy at the age of 10. At age of 55, I became a minister and at age 60, wrote my first book God and the Gods. I am a Brooklyn, New York boy at heart, and still have the New York accent, and will never lose it. I have one sister and one brother still alive. This is my 2nd book, based on my childhood memories and neighborhood environment of which I grew up in during the old ways of life in Brooklyn. Most of the fellas and friends from the old neighborhood are now gone, but a few are still alive. To them I say: "Vivere orgogliosa e forte."
