Action fantasy anime feature based on the visual novel by Type-Moon. Shirou Emiya (voice of Ayako Kawasumi) is brought in to fight in the Holy Grail War but due to his lack of experience he is paired with Rin Tohsaka (Kana Ueda). Emiya is told he must kill or be killed but his tendency to put others before himself may get him into trouble.
Meanwhile, he has to contend with Tohsaka's spirit servant who has developed a strong disliking towards him.
