Aided by a daring and/or deranged spy, a testy fairy and a singing cowboy, Flabius battles mythological sirens, Nazis, Klingons and flower girls as he tries to thwart an evil wizard from achieving his goals of global conquest and an all-expenses-paid trip to Disney World. And then there are footnotes.

Rowling, Stephen King, Richard Bachman, Ernest Hemingway, Oscar Wilde, William Faulkner, Ford Madox Ford, James Joyce, William Shakespeare, John Milton, Sidney Sheldon, that Twilight lady, Langston Hughes, Miguel de Cervantes, Herman Melville, that other Michael Parker writer guy, or Arthur Miller. Writer, pontificating bloviator and cantankerous carnivore, Parker lives with his wife and children in upstate New York. He is a fan of chocolate cake with vanilla frosting.
