"Every Otaku should have"
5 stars"

Ah… The final volume of FLCL. The grand finale of this most unusual/funny/odd anime.

Packaging: This edition of the final DVD comes with a shiny (literally) box to hold all 3 volumes, along with some nice extras e.g. stickers. Like the last 2 volumes, it has included an insert booklet. The insert booklet is really well made. The overall packaging is superb.

Story/Characters: The story continues to progress leading to the mind blowing ending. I am quite please with the ending. It sums up the whole story quite nicely. There are no new characters being introduced in this final volume, or else the story will be longer won’t it? J

Music/Sounds: FLCL’s English voice is really similar to the original; therefore the English dub has not ruined the overall atmosphere of the show. The music is fantastic! The Pillows’ music fits FLCL really well. Their songs are really catchy, the OST is recommended!

Extras: I must say I am disappointed at the amount of extras has been put in. The main extra on the disk is the textless ending. (They should have tons of rooms on the DVD since there are only 2 episodes…)

Overall I prefer this version rather than just buying the 3rd DVD by itself. FLCL is one of the anime that every Otaku should have in their collection. I highly recommend it!
