Author Biography:

As a fluvial geomorphologist and fly angler, Scott Lowe sees the magic, mystery, and power in flowing water. As author of his blog (over 130 articles), Fly Fish Mend, and his first book, The Mend, Scott connects the healing elements of nature with the sense of community and the attention required in fly fishing. Whenever he's not at soccer games, band concerts, plays, dance competitions, and basketball games for his children, Scott ties average flies and attempts to fool trout with them in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
