Mormon bishop's wife Linda Wallheim knows a bit about the LDS church's history of polygamy, but for mainstream Mormons, that epoch ended in the 1890s. However, there are still sects of fundamentalist Mormons who still practice 'the Principle of plural marriage'...in fact, some of them are living in plain sight here in Utah. And now Linda's son Kenneth is marrying a young woman who was raised in a polygamist family.
Author Biography
Mette Ivie Harrison is the author of numerous books for young adults. She holds a PhD in German literature from Princeton University and is a nationally ranked triathlete. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she lives in Utah with her husband and five children. She is the author of two other novels in the Linda Wallheim mystery series, The Bishop's Wife and His Right Hand.
