Sailor Bake Baker (Astaire) tries to rekindle his on-again off-again relationship with his old dancing partner, Sherry (Rogers). It's not all smooth sailing as Bake seems to land Sherry in trouble.

Royal Wedding
Loosely based on the real life partnership of Astaire and his sister Adele, it concernes stage siblings Tom and Ellen Bowen, who are performing in London when Princess Elizabeth is about to be married. After they meet their matches in Anne Ashmond, a dancer and Lord John Brindale, an aristocratic Casanova, will their respective romances break up their act?
