Description

Carl Weber brings together two popular Urban Books divas - Essence bestselling authors Brenda Hampton and La Jill Hunt - to give readers passionate, empowering stories about big, beautiful women. Newly divorced, 40-year-old Desa Rae Jenkins finds herself alone now that her son has gone away to college. She's taken to her bed - until Roc, a 24-year-old with a jaw-dropping body comes along. Etienne Chanel Frederick is a diva in her own right who caught the eye of Major. Now, seven years after getting Major to leave the dope game, she's ready to move forward but will Major follow?

Author Biography:

Brenda Hampton is an Essence bestselling author. She was named a Favorite Female Fiction writer in Upscale magazine, and was awarded the Best Female Writer by readers and Infini Promoters. When she is not writing, Hampton manages her own insurance business in the St. Louis metropolitan area. La Jill Hunt is a native of Mobile, AL who burst onto the literary scene in 2003 with her debut novel, Drama Queen. The memorable characters she created and the entertaining stories she told quickly drew bestselling success and a following of fans, young and old. Although known for her urban chick-lit novels, she has also contributed to the street anthology series Around the Way Girls, and penned an urban romance, Another Sad Love Song. Her erotic short story, Catch 22, is currently available as a digital download. Currently residing in Virginia Beach, La Jill enjoys spending time with her daughters, family, and friends.
