MAJELLA KILKEY is Senior Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Sheffield, UK. She is author of Lone Mothers Between Paid Work and Care. DIANE PERRONS is Professor of Economic Geography and Gender Studies at the London School of Economics, UK. She is author of Globalization and Social Change: People and Places in a Divided World. ANIA PLOMIEN is Lecturer in Gender and Social Science at the Gender Institute, London School of Economics, UK.
