Professor Dr. Dres. h.c. Otto Kaiser celebrated his 75th birthday on 30th November 1999. To mark the occasion, the Faculty of Protestant Theology at the University of Marburg organised an international symposium and one of the plenary lectures was given by Professor Kaiser. The book contains the four plenary lectures of the symposium.
Author Biography
Der Jubilar ist Professor emeritus fur Altes Testament an der Philipps-Universitat Marburg. Er hat zahlreiche Werke verfasst und ist Herausgeber der Beihefte zur Zeitschrift fur die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft. Der Herausgeber ist seit 1994 Nachfolger Otto Kaisers und hat zuvor 22 Jahre an der Universitat Munchen gelehrt."
