Julian and Zelda have enjoyed a relationship for ten years. When he decides to give up a highly paid job in an attempt to achieve his ambition of becoming a published author. Zelda is not amused and the relationship begins to flounder. Zelda embarks on an affair with a distinguished older man and they make plans to live together. Julian develops a dark side, suffering the horrors of a recurring and ongoing dream, a nightmare that brings horrifying repercussions for him in the form of a mystery woman. Zelda wakes to the sound of his screams as he battles his unknown adversary. The dream pushing him ever closer to the edge and eventually he learns the woman's identity. He believes the only way to reclaim his sanity is by taking the woman's life.
