There's alot of touchy subjects in this book. I wouldn't recommend for anyone under the age of 17. Do your research before you buy it. It includes subjects like self harm, physical abuse and SA, suicide, r a p e, a relationship that is manipulative with a questionable age gap… It is very well written, so it can easily pull you into the story in a very real way. It is a good book but make sure you're ready for it!!
Although I havent finished it yet, being a decent amount into the book, I love the narrative and the way charlie describes things so attentively; touching on a subject in a world which has become so withdrawn on these darker but crucial parts of the human mind.
