Description

More than 600 scientists from 72 countries have called for a moratorium on the environmental release of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). This book represents the research and concerns of many of these scientists. The evidence they have compiled makes a strong case for a worldwide ban on GM crops to make way for a comprehensive shift to sustainable agriculture and organic farming. Genetic engineering of food crops is an ecological and health crisis that affects us all. Its consequences are global and potentially irrevocable. Learn the basis of the decisions your government and major multinational corporations are now making for you. And begin to take the future into your own hands by consuming organic foods. "This outstanding compilation by the world's leading experts provides overwhelming evidence that GM foods and crops are dangerous to human health and the environment. So many of the assumptions underlying industry's safety claims have been proven wrong, it's astonishing that GMOs are still allowed on the market. The case made in this pivotal work is clear: Remove GMOs or face a potential disaster. I hope it's not too late."
