Author Biography

British poet Christina Rossetti (1830-94) is associated with the Pre-Raphaelites, a circle of artists and writers. After decades of neglect, her work was rediscovered in the 1970s and hailed for its proto-feminist qualities. Arthur Rackham (1867-1939) was an English artist and a leading figure in the early 20th century's Golden Age of Illustration.
