Description

The Golden Retriever is deservedly one of the most popular companion dogs. Its wonderfully sound temperament, gentleness and loving nature make it the ideal pet for all the family and it will take part enthusiastically in any activity that you want: showing, obedience and gundog work amongst others. This book is comprehensive in its coverage of the Golden Retriever. As well as breed history and a full explanation of showing and working Retrievers, three chapters are devoted to care of the dog at all stages of its life plus further chapters on health and homeopathy.
