The metal guard (on USB-C end) is already loose. I assume it won't stop it from working, but I can see some of the pcb.
Might as well buy from AliExpress for the quality from MightyApe.
*edit They sent me a replacement for free, which was nice, but it was just as useless. The USB C part only worked a certain way up, and this time the metal shell around the USB-A end came loose (which didn't affect function).
From the beginning if this cord was moved, it'd send phone into slow charge mode. I got it for Android debugging (so needs data transfer) and it's spotting and keeps resetting.
It looks like they didn't publish the negative review either!
It's got the exact same intermittent problems as AliExpress ones do. I imagine Gorilla Gaming import Ali-quality parts, add a mark-up and logo, and sell off in NZ.
Better off using the Nyko. Avoid all Gorilla Gaming branded gear.
