Description

Gradey is so greedy. He keeps a mountain of stuff. There's stuff in his attic, and stuff in his halls, and stuff overflowing from his closets. Gradey loves his stuff, and he wants even more. He loads his truck up with stuff to the sky and brings it home. Then one day, he drives by a people gathered in a crowd with a sign that says, "HELP." A flood came and destroyed many homes in his town, leaving other people with no stuff. They need stuff, and Gradey has it. But Gradey loves his stuff so much. How can he let go of it? This charming and insightful storybook for children aged 3 to 8 teaches kids the value of sharing with others. Parents and caregivers who would like to start conversations about how giving can be so much more rewarding than receiving will appreciate the book's simple and powerful message. The book will hold special appeal for Christian parents and caregivers who want to start teaching their children about the values of their faith as outlined in the Bible. Children following along with Gradey's story can start to expand their minds and get to thinking about the needs of others and how they can help meet and fulfill those needs.
