Sausage's birthday is coming up and he plans to have a party. All the dogs in the neighbourhood are invited, but the nasty, jealous cats have hidden the invitations with the rubbish and when the day arrives, no one turns up. Poor Sausage; he has no cards, no presents and no friends. He is the saddest dog in the whole world. A tear runs down his face...Can anything be done to make his party go with a bang?

Michaela Morgan is a long-established children's author. She has been shortlisted for the Children's Book of the Year, been an International Reading Association Children's Choice and won a United Kingdom Reading Association award. Sausage was a character that Michaela introduced to us in the Rockets series.
