When I saw this, I anticipated maybe 4 pieces to put together, not nine, and one is the size of [>>] well, that. Unlike the youtube video done by Mantic, their model had NO flash and almost no molding, but the one I received had flash in abundance encapsulating all the pieces, and unlike the video, the basepiece was not attached to anything, but has a pinkie-sized chunk on the bottom that needs to be cut off (not filed… Apparently resin dust particles is a bad idea)… So there is a LOT of prep to be done. You DEFINITELY have to watch the Mantic tutorials on this piece, and I bet MINE doesn't fit as neatly as theirs does. Having said all that, the detailing IS amazing, but an awful lot of work has to be done, even by the professionals, let alone newbies trying to get back into miniature painting. Shelling out $70 for this is way over the top, except for the completist, and I see that Mantic is going to do more figures for the game…hopefully not as expensive and hopefully, Mighty Ape will be able to get said future pieces in bulk…
