HEXA GEAR: Aerial Fighter Woodpecker – Model Kit
The Definition Armor is a class of Hexa Gear mecha that aims to reduce size and cost by developing a type of exoskeleton from the Bulk Arm Alpha!
The Governor would be covered with simple armor and power units, and working limbs such as legs and arms could be attached to the outer part.
The version equipped with a large propulsion unit at the rear is called the Aerial Fighter, and it can achieve high speeds and low-flying jump maneuvers that were not possible with the heavier Bulk Arm series. The legs and working arms are simplified to reduce weight and enable greater speed. The initial production of the Woodpecker type was low, but its attack method of destroying enemies with a single sharp stab of its stunning lance became well-known, and led to it being mass-produced.
This figure enables free customization through its 3mm-diameter joints on arms and legs, which can equip “Frame Arms” and other weaponry with 3mm ports. The Woodpecker's cockpit opens and closes, and the included early Governor (with a newly designed head sculpt) can ride inside. The sensor section of the cockpit can also be opened and closed. An open-type cockpit canopy is also included, so it can be ridden by “Frame Arms Girls” figures too. The Woodpecker can be displayed on a flying base (sold separately), and it's molded in the same dark metal color as the Bulk Arm Alpha.
“Hexa Gear” is a lineup from Kotobukiya featuring transformable battle mecha! It features the amazing Modeling Support Goods (M.S.G) hexagonal joint system, with a 3mm support pipe hole – so weapons from “Frame Arms” and “Heavy Weapons” units can be used with “Hexa Gear” mechs! The Hexa Gear can also be ridden by their pilots, known as Governors, sold separately.
