In a sequel to A Fathers Love, the love between two young people reach out to the world around them with the greatest message of love, Jesus's love. Jude Simon lives in the small southern town of St .Merryville and attends college in Ledville where he excels as an athlete. He's experienced heavenly visitations from Jesus and angels since he was a young boy which sets him apart from his peers. Now as a teenager in college follow along as Jude uses his spiritual gift of healing as he and his girlfriend Myra find themselves transported to strange places and situations where he is called into action. From curing a friend's dad in a restaurant after he suffered a heart attack and saving a young boy at the New Orleans Zoo, from being bitter by poisonous snakes Jude shares with them the love of Christ's healing touch.Jesus pops up periodically transporting Jude and Myra to Jerusalem where they witness biblical scenes, Jesus' speaking to the woman at the well, Jesus' transfiguration into Heaven and the miracle of the wine at the wedding feast in Cana. Jude's' athletic abilities take him to the 1968 Mexico Olympics where he wins medals for pole vaulting feats thought to be impossible. He gives all the glory to God for his abilities. Author Biography:
Robert "Bobbie" Bienvenu was born December 27, 1948 in St. Martinville, La. to a middle-class family. Bob attended Catholic Schools, was an altar boy, and achieved BSA rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from Catholic High School in New Iberia and the University of Southwestern Louisiana majoring in Psychology. He intuitively knew he had hang-ups but couldn't put his finger on what was wrong. He felt compelled to study the mind seeking insight in overcoming shyness and introversion. After flunking out of college a few years later, the draft was in effect, and Bob was drafted into the Army. Due to the stress of combat training he had a nervous breakdown, and sought Psychiatric help. His diagnose was Paranoid Schizophrenia, which put in a Mental Hospital for six weeks before being released from service with an Honorable Medical Discharge. As a civilian he found employment at Acadiana High School, for four years assisting special-need students, being well-suited to the job. In the meantime he met a girl at church named Linda, whom he married and after 12 years went through a divorce. He took up the hobby of weightlifting after retiring, entering competitions. He won 43 AAU, World power-lifting championships, 44 official /unofficial state title from different organizations, also 3 world records, from Cajun Hardcore power-lifting organization. Bob's relationship with Jesus, helped him deal with his Schizophrenia and accomplish his dream of being a successful author. In 2007, Bob started hosting a live public access television show, "Insight Into Mental Health," on Acadiana Open Channel in Lafayette, and on a delayed basis on You Tube. IIMW discusses various mental Illnesses topics. Bob is a prolific writer, his first book published is his auto-biography, "From Light to Darkness to Glory." Another book "Mental Illness, God, and Healing," explores how spirituality, and a belief in Jesus may help people with mental illness. He wrote a series of science-fiction novels, where his characters take fascinating trips to the past, and future, on earth, and other planets. His latest endeavor "Heaven's Warriors," Christian fiction was just published and he is working on his a Christian fiction series "A Father's Love," and "His Healing Touch, the third book coming on in 2019. lives in Lafayette.
