Author Biography

Beldona Vittal Rao obtained his masters degree in history from the University of Bombay (1962) and PhD from the University of Pune (1987). He has taught history for more than three decades at the Rani Parvati Devi College, Belgaum. He has published numerous research papers in national and international journals. He has been a member of many associations promoting historical and social science research in India and abroad. His other books are World History, History of Asia, History of Europe (1485-1815), and Concise Book of World History.
