Author Biography:

Kathy S. Stolley is an assistant professor of sociology at Virginia Wesleyan College, Norfolk, VA. She is the author of Greenwood Press book The Basics of Sociology (2005) and of The Praeger Handbook of Adoption (2006). John E. Glass is a professor of sociology at Collin County Community College, Frisco, TX.
