Used to play this game as a kid, still fun to pull them out on a rainy day! such a simple but effective game…

Pick Up Sticks or Mikado as it is sometimes called, is a traditional game enjoyed in many parts of the world. The objective of the game is to pick the sticks up, one by one, without moving the others. To start the game, hold the sticks up vertically, dropping them quickly on a table, then start picking them up remembering that each colour has a different number of points…and the black stick (the Mikado) is the most important stick and also has the most amount of points!

The sticks come in a durable cardboard tube with instructions included.

  • For any number of players
  • Recommened for children 8 +
