Author Biography:

Casey Gwinn serves as the President of Alliance for HOPE International—one of the leading systems and social change organizations in the country. He is the former elected City Attorney of San Diego, the visionary behind the rapidly developing international Family Justice Center movement, and the founder of Camp HOPE America, the first camping and mentoring program in the country for children exposed to domestic violence. He has authored or co-authored ten books and hundreds of articles and media commentaries. He has been profiled in news outlets in the United States including The Huffington Post, the New York Times, the New Yorker, ABC Nightly News, CNN, The Early Show on CBS, and the Oprah Winfrey Show. Casey resides in San Diego, CA. Chan is a professor in the Anne & Henry Zarrow School of Social Work and Founding Director of The Hope Research Center at the University of Oklahoma. He has written more than 150 scientific publications on the science of hope. He is one of the leading hope researchers in the country today and resides in Tulsa, OK.
