If you get the error:

Region Notice Horizons is not available in your location at this time. Please look for us soon

Then there is a simple fix, goto the following URL:…tregion.aspx

This will allow you to select a region then you can log in normally with your log in details.

The default URL for NZ is:

The shortcut the game creates on the desktop does not point to a region wich causes the error message, this may be changed soon but for now an easy fix is to just right click the shortcut and select properties then you should see a value called “Target” or “Target Path” depending on your operating system.

The line should read: “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE”

Just add the link for NZ so the line will read: “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE” Then click Apply and OK, next time you click your Horizons shortcut it should go straight in with no error at all, if you live outside NZ simply goto the Regionselect pick your country and copy the rest of the URL and paste it onto the Shortcut on desktop. (The text in the target should be one line, just thought to mention it since it looks like two on when i posted this)

Hope this helps any others who have the exact same error due to the bad shortcut.
