I think this is the lowest priced Hornby model rail set, if you discount the battery models, but it's not too bad. The loco is well made and runs OK. You don't get much track but it's all radius 1 so you can set this up in quite a small area. It's a good first set if you are wanting to dabble in model rail for the first time but don't want to spend too much.
