Author Biography:

Len is an authority in the several literary genres. In addition to writing books, technical articles, Len record's videos for community TV and Youtube.com for his potential readers to view that are related to his books he authored on topics such as the cause and recovery of childhood autism, arthritis, diabetes, mental illness, cancer, auto-immune and immune system diseases and gender expansion. As Boeing's GPS Space and Ground Segment Manager, Len was on contract to the U.S. Air Force Global Positioning System Joint Program Office located at the Space and Missiles Systems Center to complete the necessary analysis and provide the technical directions to get the GPS program funded by the Department of Defense. Len used the first 12 Boeing GPS Block I satellites in the program's test & evaluation phase to provide all the on-orbit satellite performance information necessary for the GPS Joint Program Office to submit to the Pentagon to win funding for the GPS program. This required Len to ensure that the 12 Boeing GPS satellites outperformed the 2 existing, Navy, satellite-based navigation systems by developing and using prognostics and health management (PHM) technology on real-time on-orbit GPS satellite telemetry, Master Upload Station's Kalman filtered navigation performance data and stored satellite telemetry. Academically, Len has earned three Associate of Arts (AA) degrees in Physics, Mathematics and Liberal Arts, two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Physics and Mathematics, a graduate (MA) degree and Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and a graduate (MS) degree in Education. In his scientific and engineering career, Len was also responsible for the design of 10 NOAA/NASA's GOES Next, geostationary orbit weather and space science satellites and managed the Orbital/U.C. Berkeley/NASA's Extreme Ultra-Violet Explorer Space Telescope, a sister ship to the NASA Hubble space telescope, and the design and test of NASA's Space Station Freedom, the International Space Station and the redesign of the NASA's Space Shuttles and the design and test of many national and international commercial, civil and government navigation, weather and communications satellites and launch vehicles as well as a nuclear survivable, mobile satellite control station for the U.S. Air Force to reconstitute the military's space assets after a nuclear war.
