On the magic night of high school's end, Julie, Helen, RaRay and Barry get into Barry's new beamer oblivious to the violent accident that's waiting for them just beyond the next twist in the road. No one sees the body that seems to fly out of nowhere directly into the car's grill. No one knows the identity of the crumpled form that appears to have stopped breathing. With the spectre of scandal and possible arrest clouding the bright picture of their futures, on that winding road, in that darkness, they make a decision that will change their lives forever.
