H. Curtis In the antique jewelry Will be found a collection of about 230 necklaces, which covers a wide period, ranging from old Egyptian beads down to the Venetian Aggry beads. Many of these necklaces are put together from amulets and tubular beads, the latter being taken from the mummy nets. The head necklaces of the Roman period con tain remarkable and absolutely unique specimens of Roman mosaic beads, which have now practically disappeared from the market. Other features include a fine collection of earrings, bracelets and various ornaments in gold, mainly from Syria.
