In A Solitary Way, was written as a form of praise and worship, in gratitude, to the LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ! The author, Michelle Louise Pierre, candidly shares with her audience the ups and downs of navigating through this world, where pretty much anything is deemed okay, as a Christian, with the burning desire to be totally sold out to the LORD! Most poems were inspired by events in her own life, while others were gleaned from events in the lives of other singles, she encountered, over the years. It is written to minister to Christian single adults, in whatever stages of singleness they find themselves, by a born-again Christian single adult, who desires to worship the LORD in Spirit and in truth. This work contains one hundred and seventeen poems, with the addition of a section entitled, "A Time of Reasoning", which contains six commentaries, along with accompanying prayers. Further, an additional commentary can also be found nestled between the two conclusions, one written in 2006 and the other written in 2018. There is a section in the back entitled, "Notes and/or Insights" and contains blank pages for the reader to jot down their own comments, journal entries, prayers, etc. Out of the one hundred and seventeen poems, thirty-one of them were taken from eight other books by the author. Most of those books (listed on the copyright page of the book) are not yet published, so this is the first time they will be available to a larger audience, in print. The cover photo was taken by the author, as well, and is entitled, "Shining Alone". The poems span the years of 1995 to 2018.
